"Everybody Loves Porn" A Documentary about America's Favorite Pastime
This is a film
about an industry struggling with the aftermath of the Internet revolution. The
porn business was once thought to be recession-proof, but free tube sites and
piracy have recently taken their toll. Directors and producers gamble on a newly
popular genre of porn; the porn parody. From the Addams Family, to Batman, and
the Brady Bunch, there is nothing in mainstream entertainment that can’t be made
fun of in porn. By turning out high-quality productions, with a talented cast
(yes, some porn stars can act!), companies are hoping they can make films people
are still willing to pay for.
Everybody Loves
Porn will take you behind-the-scenes, from
the set of a big budget dance extravaganza movie, to a raunchy and raucous
awards show where glamorous girls in evening gowns present the award for best
blowjob. You’ll see a Burbank
dive bar that is transformed every
Tuesday night for Porn Star Karaoke. Then it’s on to the Exxxotica LA
Convention, where fans are waiting in line to meet their favorite
stars.
Along the way we meet a cast of
characters worthy of a million-dollar screenplay, but it’s all real! Industry
veteran Jesse Jane, of Digital Playground, describes her first scene and how she
always wanted to make porn. The one-and-only Ron Jeremy reminisces about his
early days. We see starlets struggling to stay at the top and newbies breaking
in. Wicked contract star Jessica Drake explains the non-cookie cutter approach
to marketing porn stars and their personalities. And a new young stud quickly
becomes a force within the business while maintaining a “monogamous outside of
work” relationship with his girlfriend, who is also a porn star.
